Wow!
The latest Eucharistic miracle reported in Mexico on July 24 2022. There are many videos taken at the time of the event. The Eucharist host which Catholics believe is the True Presence of Christ appears to be beating. Doctors who viewed it said it was beating consistently just as a human heart does.
Other Eucharistic miracles such as the one in Lanciano Italy when the host after being consecrated allegedly turned from bread to human flesh. Research concluded that the flesh was from a human heart. This would be consistent with the fact that Christ died for us out of great love for us. It is His Blood that saves. He gives Himself to us in His Holy Sacrament of The Eucharist.
Catholics believe that the consecrated bread and wine turns into the True flesh and blood of Jesus Christ. Tradition tells us that The Eucharist is the True body of Christ but in the appearance of bread and wine. It is the essence that changes into Christ and not usually the physical form of the bread and wine. God certainly has the power to do this! I think that is why these alleged Eucharistic miracles are so believable.
I am interested in what the church finds out about this. Anytime these reports come in an investigation is started. First by the Bishop in whos diocese the miracle takes place. If everything checks out it would have to be the Bishop of Rome aka Pope who signs off on it and declares it a true miracle. Until then we can praise Christ and follow His Word.
I really don't need more miracles to believe He is Truly Present in The Eucharist. The Eucharist is already a miracle! The Eucharist is everything Christ has that He wants to share with us. What more could we ask for? But if events like this prove to have no other explanations we should conclude that Christ is with us and He desperately wants us to recognize Him in The breaking of the bread. (Luke 24:13-32) He wants us to know and love Him more and more every day.
I believe Jesus when he tells me In the scriptures that we must eat His Flesh and drink His Blood to have eternal life. But I love hearing about theses and other miracles. The Church has yet to investigate this new Mexico Eucharistic miracle but I know their Bishop got started right away. I look forward to hearing about what they find out about this.
